What is a good research topic on the graphic novel Watchmen?

For my college cl we had to read the graphic novel Watchmen. Now for the end of the semester term paper we have to write a eight page paper based on the novel. I need to fine academic sources to use, so I have to fine a good topic to write on. I was thinking maybe writing on the symbolism or the images of the novel. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could write on?
