How can the McCain supporters who are extremely hateful and blatantly lie about obama be considered christian ?

Not all McCain supporters but the ones who come to the rallies spewing hate filled speech, completely lying about obama and his record. For e.g. there was a lady who said she doesn't trust him..he is an arab. In my neighborhood(predominantly republican), 2 people had there obama posters defaced to say osama and another one had a burnt cross left in front of her yard next to her sign. At another rally, a man said obama invented acorn so they could register dead people and commit other fraudulent voter registration. At another rally they said he was a communist..and even said his father was part of al quaida... There is no way they can believe that is true or believe what they are saying is not hate/lies..completely against the christian faith.
