Who would win in a battle between the SAS The IRA and the US army?

For the person who said the whole U.K could beat the U.S in a war...lets be serious. You were talking about your naval fleet. Guess what?? The U.S has more tonage in our Navy than the next 13 navies behind us. We have 12 nuclear powered super carriers that only have to be refuled every 25 years, and our destroyer and Sub fleet are 3 times your size. As for our Air force lets not even go into that. On top of that we have a 1.1 million man Army, and a 250,000 strong Marine Corp so.....come on. I have respect for the british Army, I fight along side them, they are professional, and they have the size of conary mellons. Just dont ume that you could wipe us out. Now to the origional question The U.s would win. If the SAS were equal in numbers then yes because they are the best special forces in the WORLD. Everybody needs to remember one thing that you Britts and us Americans are the closest of allies, so you do know that pretty much whatever weapons technology or watever us Americans have, you Britts have access to it to, and the other way around. So its like we are one Army in Iraq or Afghanistan.
