A question about..........well read on ;)?

i am a 42 yr old woman going thru a bitter divorce i have 4 children ranging in ages from 20 to 10....long story short my husband cheated and our marriage ended because of it although still legally married we havnt been together in a year his gf is now pregnant so proving adultery is a no brainer...what i need to know is can i get alimony i do work but when he works he makes alot more then i do i also have custody of the kids and a child support order that is currantly not being paid as he is unemployed he quits every job he has he has had 3 in just a year.....aaanyway if anyone could please answer this question for me...btw we were married legally in Ny and for 21 years
