A Question About Medical School Admissions?

If a university has a medical school, do they give preferential treatment to applicants who obtained their BA there? For example, ECU has the Brody School of Medicine. Would they be more likely to accept students who did their undergrad work at ECU? This is a large factor in determining which school I attend.
