Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Neverland help (Terra)?

I am currently playing the english version of Birth By Sleep, playing as Terra. In Neverland, there is a spot with cliffs and water. I have fell into the water and cannot get back up. I am currently level 22 and the high jump is not yet available in the shop. Is there a way to get back up without high jump?
