I recently repotted my orchid and now the leaves are turning yellow. Does this mean it is dying? Thanks?

Orchids tend to survive in the most inhospitable conditions very little water is required and that's why they are usually found in a bark like substance. they don't like too much cold , a short spell often sparks the flower stems into life, Survival is the prime intention of an Orchid Occasionally the flower stems produce small plants as against the normal flowers and with a small plastic bag with some orchid compost tied around each root ball then new plants will take off. They do require a lot of T L C and don't be disappointed when it all goes wrong.

How much do you think this book is worth?

I was given a book from my grandfather called "Soldiers of the American Army 1775- 1941. It is in very good condition, only 500 were printed. It is hardback. But on one of the front page it says "To Franklin Delano Roosevelt From his old time friend Homer mings Christmas 1944". I looked up the signature online and it is exact and does look written not printed. Where should I go to get this book appraised? Do you think it is actually worth anything? Thank you!!!!

i am a 42 yr old woman going thru a bitter divorce i have 4 children ranging in ages from 20 to 10....long story short my husband cheated and our marriage ended because of it although still legally married we havnt been together in a year his gf is now pregnant so proving adultery is a no brainer...what i need to know is can i get alimony i do work but when he works he makes alot more then i do i also have custody of the kids and a child support order that is currantly not being paid as he is unemployed he quits every job he has he has had 3 in just a year.....aaanyway if anyone could please answer this question for me...btw we were married legally in Ny and for 21 years

Help identifying movie (poor family, keeps winning contests etc.)?

It's an older movie, and all I remember about it was that it was about a big family that was poor, and in one scene the mother won some sort of competiton in which she got to fill her grocery cart with as many items she could in a certain amount of time, and they got caviar and all this fancy stuff they never had. I think she would enter in these competitions and keep winning or something, and there was one person in the movie that was in an iron lung. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Thanks!
